Diflucan

Diflucan (fluconazole) is a triazole antifungal that works by slowing down the multiplication of fungi in your body therefore helping it to get rid of the infection. Being allergic to the active or inactive ingredients this medication contains is a contraindication for taking Diflucan. Your health care provider will probably recommend you an alternative treatment method. If you take this drug anyway you may develop severe allergic reactions such as trouble breathing, rash, hives and swelling. Some of the most commonly reported side effects you are likely to experience when your treatment just starts (because of the body adjusting to the dosage prescribed) include heartburn, diarrhea, headache, stomach pain, and dizziness. These are the few side effects that are generally mild and disappear soon.
